HGTV to Air People, Places & Plants (PPP) TV Shows Beginning July 2
By Hilda M. Morrill

When Roger Swain signed off as host of "The Victory Garden" after 15 years and more than 500 episodes in 2001, many of his fans were left to wonder what became of "the man in the red suspenders."

Beginning on July 2, the rest of America will find out that Swain has been making another television show. The gardening program known as 'People, Places & Plants' will begin airing across the country on the popular cable network HGTV on Saturday mornings at 10:30 a.m.

"When we travel around the country people ask about my new television show," said Swain, a frequent public speaker. "It's exciting that now people everywhere will be able to see it for themselves."

'People, Places & Plants' (PPP) is based on a popular northeast regional gardening magazine of the same name. Paul Tukey, a founding editor of the award-winning publication that is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, also serves as co-host of the show.

Enjoy!
