In The Garden Center

Emerald Blue Creeping Phlox (c) BostonGardens.comPhlox subulata 'Emerald Blue' provides an excellent groundcover for rock gardens, along walkways, at the garden’s edge or cascading over stone walls. A perennial that starts blooming in spring, it's commonly known as creeping phlox, carpet phlox, flowering moss or moss phlox.

Plant it in full sun at the edge of your garden to add interest and an early carpet of color. It grows vigorously reaching 3 to 6 inches tall and forms dense spreading mounds covered in spectacular blue blossoms. It's also available in white, pink, purple and rose. Water regularly for prolonged flowering. Shear after flowering for healthier and dependable plants year after year.
